Refund Policy

When Inferya refunds a payment, when we do not, and how to ask — written to match how we actually invoice.

What this covers

This policy applies to project work and ongoing services bought from us. It sits alongside our Terms and Conditions, and where your signed proposal says something different, the proposal wins.

Deposits

Projects start with a deposit. It is non-refundable, and it is worth saying plainly why: accepting it means we hold a delivery slot for you and turn other work away for that period, and that cost is real whether or not the project then proceeds.

If we are the ones who cannot proceed, you get the deposit back in full.

Milestone payments

After the deposit, projects are invoiced against milestones set out in your proposal.

  • A milestone that is complete and approved by you is payable and is not refundable.
  • A milestone that is underway when you cancel is charged for the work actually done, and we will show you what that was.
  • A milestone we have not started is refunded in full, or not invoiced if you have not yet paid it.

Ongoing services

Retainers — hosting, maintenance, AI operations, search and CRM work — are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. The current month is not refundable, because the capacity for it is already committed. Nothing is billed after the notice period ends.

If something is wrong

If a deliverable does not materially match what your proposal described, that is not a refund question in the first instance — tell us within 30 days and we will fix it at our own cost, which is the remedy in our Terms. A refund of the relevant milestone is where we land only if we cannot put it right.

How to request a refund

Email info@inferya.com with your invoice number and what you would like refunded. We will respond within 5 working days and, where a refund is due, pay it within 14 days to the account the payment came from.

Please come to us before raising a chargeback with your bank or card provider. A chargeback opened without contacting us first freezes the account while it is investigated, which helps neither of us.

Your statutory rights

If you are buying as a consumer rather than a business, this policy does not reduce the rights your local law gives you, including any statutory cancellation or cooling-off period that applies to services bought at a distance.
